If the country where you live does not have a Local Branch of the BOVF, you will need a minimum of three members to form a new branch, a Chair, Secretary and Events Coordinator.

BOVF Social Media Campaigners play a crucial role in expanding the reach and impact of the organization’s social media presence.

They leverage their personal networks and online influence to promote the organization’s mission, engage with followers, and drive meaningful interactions on various social media platforms.

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about social causes, with a strong online presence and a knack for creating engaging content.

Key Responsibilities:

Reach and Content Creation:

  • Promote the organization’s mission, values, initiatives and work across social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Create and share compelling content, including posts, stories, videos, and graphics, that align with the organization’s objectives and resonate with the target audience.
  • Utilize hashtags, trends, and other social media tools to increase the visibility and reach of the organization’s content, effectively amplifying its message.

Engagement:

  • Actively engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, fostering a sense of community and connection.

Consistency:

  • Collaborate with the organization’s marketing or social media team to align messaging and promotional efforts, ensuring consistency and coherence across all channels.

Analytics & Current Trends

  • Monitor social media analytics and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay informed about current trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in social media marketing, continually seeking opportunities to innovate and optimize strategies.

Sharing Success & Collaboration:

  • Attend virtual or in-person meetings, workshops, or training sessions as required, to stay updated on organizational developments and maintain alignment with overall goals.

Ethics and Brand:

  • Represent the organization professionally and ethically in all online interactions, adhering to brand guidelines and upholding the organization’s reputation and integrity.
  • Advocate for the BOVF mission and values online, inspiring others to get involved and make a difference.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Passion for the organization’s mission and commitment to social change.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in social media marketing, content creation, or community management is preferred but not required.
