On March 31st 2025 BOVF met with Jack Rankin MP
This meeting focused on our new policy for overseas student fees. Jack had been briefed on the policy in previous meetings and was happy to support our common sense proposal. Jack and his Chief of Staff Anna Robinson were able to provide helpful direction to ensure the policy suggestions could be viewed by the appropriate committees within the Conservative party.
We also discussed how an MP can contact their overseas constituents.
The meeting took place in Westminster and was attended by Bruce Darrington (Chair, BOVF), Simon Landy (BOVF Policy Lead, Overseas Student Fees) and Caroline Padbury (Trustee, BOVF).
We look forward to progressing discussions with Jack and the wider Conservative team.
