Routine Branch Functions
Local Branches shall work in accordance with the following:
Recruitment of Branch Officers
Local Branches shall recruit a minimum of two Branch Officers – Chair & Secretary – who are committed to fulfilling their respective roles and responsibilities.
Registration
Local Branches shall register with the central BOVF organization using the designated registration form and comply with all necessary documentation and requirements.
Access to Resources
Local Branch Officers shall have access to the BOVF Information Hub, and other online resources which provides written resources, guidance, and support to enhance the effectiveness of local branch activities.
Communication Channels
Local Branches shall establish communication channels, such as WhatsApp groups or online forums, to facilitate efficient communication and collaboration among Members, Supporters, and activists.
Strategic Alignment
Local Branches shall align their activities, initiatives, and campaigns with the strategic goals, priorities, and Key Issues identified by the central BOVF organization.
Reporting and Accountability
Local Branches shall provide regular reports, updates, and feedback to the central BOVF organization, demonstrating progress, outcomes, and impact achieved through their activities.
Continuous Improvement
Local Branches shall continuously evaluate, assess, and improve their functioning, effectiveness, and impact, utilizing feedback, data, and lessons learned to enhance their contributions to the BOVF mission.
Compliance
Local Branches shall comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing their operations, including but not limited to financial management, data protection, and ethical standards. For instance, local branches in Thailand will not engage in any paid-for raffles or bingo games to ensure it complies with the strict anti-gambling laws.
