Whether helping with a local branch, engaging in a policy committee, providing essential administrative support, or writing case studies after talking to those affected by the issues we campaign for, our volunteers make a significant impact.

We welcome people from all walks of life. Our volunteers include young professionals, retirees, students, expatriates, and those with lived experience of the challenges faced by Brits abroad.

Our volunteers make our work possible, supporting British citizens living abroad by campaigning for the changes needed to ensure their rights and well-being.
To become a volunteer, all you need is enthusiasm and a desire to make a difference. For most roles, you don’t need any prior experience, though any skills or qualifications you bring to your volunteer role are always valued.
We provide all the training and support needed to make you feel confident and secure in your role.
