Where we are
The British Overseas Voters Forum (BOVF) benefits greatly from having Local Branches made up of Supporters and Members who are British citizens living abroad.
These local branches create a vital network, ensuring that the unique priorities of British expats in each area are heard by the Forum as a whole.
Each country presents its own set of challenges for British expatriates, from issues like frozen pensions or trying to afford for British young people living overseas to access university in the UK.
We currently have branches in the following locations:

The Merits of Local Branches
By establishing country-specific branches, the BOVF can create a stronger, more organized collective voice that can influence UK policy decisions.
These branches also help in building a grassroots movement, empowering expatriates to become active participants in shaping the future for British citizens abroad.
In addition, Local Country Branches can foster a sense of community among expatriates, connecting British citizens in their host countries while keeping them engaged with UK affairs.
Branches act as hubs for collaboration, where members can share experiences, discuss key issues, and strategize advocacy efforts.
By facilitating meetings, events, and campaigns, Local Branches allow supporters and members to stay involved and make a tangible impact on the policy changes that matter most to them.
Whether it’s organizing local events, lobbying politicians, or providing guidance on issues like voting registration, these branches strengthen the overall mission of the BOVF by creating an engaged, informed, and unified group of advocates worldwide.
